MASOC membership is designed for professionals who are committed to preventing sexual abuse through early intervention in the lives of sexually abusive children and youth.

What does MASOC do?
Each year, MASOC hosts an annual conference of national quality with over 800 attendees, stewards legislation that requires assessments for safe and appropriate placement of teens and children, develops a recognized credentialing process for those working with youth, and builds the organization and its reach. In 2008-2009, we plan to:
  • Expand our website to help us communicate with our membership about critical and emerging issues.
  • Send out email alerts about emerging legislation, state-wide initiatives, funding opportunities and other issue that can be helpful to anyone in this field.
  • Engage policy makers in a discussion that takes advantage of our national expertise and has the potential of making Massachusetts a national leader with its policies, procedures and practices with children and youth.
Member Benefits ($25 annual fee):
  • Email alerts about current research and legislative changes
  • Early registration to the annual MASOC/MATSA conference
  • A discount on the MASOC credentialing process
  • Access to our member only listings
  • Adding your voice to the growing dialogue to stop sexual abuse

Help us build our membership base so that we can take a more proactive stance for the field of sex-abuse-specific treatment of children and youth. At $25.00 per year, it is an easy investment for you to make to help create a stronger constituency in Massachusetts.
Please consider adding your support to building a stronger and more responsive organization.
